Parody Song Title:

"Mac Is In The Slammer"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

customs quizzical, searched his baggage, physical
jail is now his home
late nights all alone, what a sad dude
oh oh oh oh
he was led on in, confiscated medicine
they do not condone
paparazzi taking his picture
oh oh oh oh
tour was getting ready to go
now he's behind closed doors

clang clang...mac is in the slammer
into a cell he's led
clang clang...mac is in the slammer
his fans are filled with dread

quite the hooligan, paul has broke the rules again
japanese annoyed
paul left in the void, an unpleasant sce-ee-ene
they said paul must pay, so the bloke was put away
linda left behind
can't cope at this time, it just can't be so...oh oh oh
the cops had found some grass on the boy
and now he's in a bind

clang clang...mac is in the slammer
that's what the papers said
clang clang...mac is in the slammer
can't fix it with mere bread

bad press hurt him some, said he was a dirty one
now he must atone
getting lots of anti-drug lectures...oh oh oh oh
loss of salary, no shows at the gallery
mac is not free (mac is not set free)
the judge says no, indeed, and he tells him so oh oh oh
a stint in jail curtailing his trip
a really heavy fine

clang clang..mac is in the slammer
a lumpy bunk, his bed
clang clang...mac is in the slammer
his face is awfully red

in...the...slammer...now
clang clang !

Sad tale of Ol' Mac, eh? Paul McCartney is one of my fave Beatles members next to John Lennon! That's too bad he had to go to prison, and having to sleep on a lumpy bed every night, miserable. They say, "Don't do the time if you can't do the crime!" (I know it's the other way around. I only switched the words for the sake of joking around). He's about to serve 555 years time!

LOL... Sgt. Paper's! (In his defense, I did once read he was the last Beatle to try LSD!)
