I give her all my gloves
That’s how I woo.
And if you saw her doves,
She’d warm them too,
And I glove her.

She gives me frozen cod
from fisheries,
The cod my glover brings,
She hands to me,
And I glove her.

A glove like ours,
Can pick up dimes,
And maybe spills,
If you’re messy.

Bright is the yellow pair,
Dark is the grime.
I hope this glove of mine,
Will clean and shine,
