The Lyrics

Yeah, she's got blue hair that four feet long, her husband isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer (yet always manages to cut himself), and her children haven't aged in a decade or so, but we love her anyway! Here's one for Marge Simpson, re-posted for Artistry!
Hey, Marge, don't get so mad
You know Homer don't know no better
Remember the place he has in your heart
That way when he farts, you'll make it better

Hey, Marge, don't be afraid
Bart has made bombs a little better
Be patient, don't let him under your skin
Perhaps he'll begin to behave better.

And any time you feel the strain, hey, Marge, refrain
Don't carry the world upon your shoulders
Listen, Marge, can't you see? You've got a family
Where'd Lisa go? Oh yeah...Bart sold her

Hey, Marge! Don't let her down
You have found her, now go and get her
He sold her, right to the Comic Book Guy
No, I don't know why...just go make it better.

It's Maggie's changing time again, yellow hair, yellow skin
I wonder exactly when she'll get older
Marge don't you think it's kinda weird, same age for ten years
Yet Maggie still fits right on your shoulder

Hey, Marge, don't be so sad
They're not that bad (though I've seen better)
They're just like the floor in Kwik-E-Mart
Stuck on you from the start, so make it better

Better! Better! Better!
Better! BETTER! D'oh!!!

Na na na
nana na na
nana na na
Hey Marge! (Homer: "Honey, while you're up, can I have a beer?")

Na na na
nana na na
nana na na
Hey Marge! (Lisa: Mom, Bart's making explosives again!)

Na na na
nana na na
nana na na
Hey Marge! (Bart: I didn't do it, you didn't see me do it, you can't prove anything!)

Na na na
nana na na
nana na na
Hey Marge! (Maggie: [pacifier sucking noise])

Na na na
nana na na
nana na na
Hey Marge! (Marge: [Marge nervous groan noise])

Na na na
nana na na
nana na na
Hey Marge!

(repeat until fade out)

Nice work.

As I told Wolverine, The Simpsons and The Flintstones both have been done more than any other cartoon in the parody world (Weird Al did "The Bedrock Anthem" and he used sound clips from the Simpsons in "Phony Calls") Now this wasn't bad, expecially this was a very early from you and you just reposted it in order to get comments meaning you must have posted this before the comment thing was even installed, so great work, because back then The Simpsons weren't done as much, and I love the Simpsons, but... I dunno about this one.

As a long time simpsons fan I love this song. 555 butterfinger bars. This song is as Mr Burns would say..."Excellent."

Artistry-34

You can't go wrong with the Simpson's in parody. But I never figured the comic book guy for a perv. I must have missed that episode. I'd have loved to have seen something in here about Homer's "Forbidden DOH-nut". Nonetheless it still sails well.

(Artistry) Despite the title sub not rhyming with the OS, this was pretty good. Not your Simpsons parody, but that's a good thing. 555 Duffs for you!

(Artistry) Just a little more creativity--and fewer of the OS key words (don't be afraid, make it better, refrain, don't carry the world upon your shoulders) could have taken this a bit more over the top compared to other Hey Judes in this comp (not to toot my own horn).

5555! I think this song is awesome and anyone who disagrees with me can eat my shorts.

You took a few liberties with the meter, but I could still sing this. Having done a parody to this OS I know how deceptively difficult it is. I liked the "Oh yeah...Bart sold her" line best.

(Artistry) For some reason, this doesn't seem as consistently brilliant as many of your other parodies. Still good with great lines though.

(Artistry) I don't know guys, maybe it's just me, but I thought it was a cute parody, and would easily be recordable. . .I guess I'm just weird. . .I genuinely liked it.

Good parody, a nice Simpsons tribute. I liked how you worked the quotes in at the end.
Wolverine - September 18, 2008 - Report this comment
(Artistry) I know I've been rapped at times for using too much of the original lyrics. And while I wouldn't say, overall, this parody does, the original and this parody does rhyme "better" with "better" a lot. I guess I would have liked to have seen that mixed up more. Otherwise, a good Simpsons parody.

I love the Simpsons. We all love the Simpsons.
I did enjoy your lines after the "na na na nana na na" parts.

Like I said before...excellent. 555!
