Parody Song Title:

"When I Lived With Dwarves"

Parody Written by:

Alvin Rhodes

now i'm much older...prince, i have snared
life is good and how
still i can remember when there was a time
i had led a life, less sublime
living with louts, in quarters, unclean
made to mop the floors
grumpy and sleepy....man, it was creepy
when i lived with dwarves

you'd be fed up, too
yes, you can take my word
it was quite askew

there would be dopey...acting absurd
doc would dote upon
then there would be bashful...on the quiet side
off to work, just marching a-stride
i'd do the garden...i'd pull the weeds
all the tiresome chores
happy and sneezy...it wasn't easy
when i lived with dwarves

in the summer, what a stuffy cottage
it was cramped, alright...it was downright weird
i worked like a slave
man-children, never pleased
thank god, i was saved

send them a postcard...drop them a line
tell them "howdy-do"
i still treat them nicely with the words i say
not sincere, but written that way
they never answer...that's true to form
they choose to ignore
i don't get weepy...man, it was creepy
when i lived with dwarves

whew !

This one is just so "alvin", alvin. I loved the title sub and how you worked the names in. Great job.

Sir Alvin, this is very clever, and how true. Sadly, I know, as I lived with tres Vaqeros hermanos de Campagna . . . I know the routine: cooking, cooking, cooking & Cleaning!!

Alvin - OK, as a chipmunk, I guess you have an affinity for dwarves, but... this is brilliant. One of those "why didn't I think of that" title subs, perfectly executed.
