The Lyrics

cain
ol' abel just got rubbed out by ol' cain
it was most unkind
and god could see
whoa oh...ol' cain got bugged
to the worst degree...yeah

cain
well, he just smacked away, did ol' cain
abel hit the ground
so violently
whoa oh...cause cain had slugged
maliciously...yeah

"i wanna kill you", he told abel
"o brother, mine"
"god seems to love you"
"with me, he ain't impressed", then bellowed ol'...

cain
poor abel sure was racked up by cain
brother's rage was blind
with lunacy
whoa oh...ol' cain drew blood
with his killing spree...yeah

"bro, believe me when i tell you"
"your ass i'll beat"
i'm apt to kill you"
and abel wound up slain because of ol'...

cain
the fam'ly's all messed up cause of cain
why he lose his mind
so wrecklessly ?
whoa oh...ol' cain has snuffed
abel's life, you see...yeah

cain
cain got bugged
cain got bugged
cain got bugged

You do realize the original was by the Cookies, right? And it was a big hit. Anyway, both they and the Beatles were lucky they did it back then, before people might have confused it with an S&M song. And Cain was lucky he did it back then, before there could be any witnesses.

Alvin, picking up on your comment about how everything was a first back then in those days this old joke came back to me:Q: Do you know what Adam said to Eve when he got his first erection?A: Stand back, I don't know how big this thing gets!

The earliest tale of sibling rivalry!

Good storytelling here Alvin. To continue Peter's joke and answer your question: there was an instruction manual, but Adam, being a guy, didn't read it. Thus, Eve was the first person to utter the words "Wrong hole, fool!"
