The Lyrics

July Chalupa Awards: Enjoy!
What what you do if I gave out a two
Would you argue that you need a three
Put down your fears and I'll write you a song
5 Chalupas enjoy the decree

Chalupas the Wild Man sends
To all of my Amiright friends
Hope that the comedy never ends

Mend My PC anybody
Got Phil Alexander to love
MooRocca's date was grubby
and Del Rito was hawking the doves

What would you say when the Syncs were away
Well I think that they came back really strong
Who do you love at the end of the day
Well Mer & Pip, and Wdh had a Whopper of a song

Spaff had fun with Kim Jong
Had that Chia hair thing going on
mention Malky and Ghetto John
I'm In Gomez's Band playing bong

Listerine anybody
Got Michael Florio the love
ASF my golf buddy
And Pacholek was usally smug

What do you do when a names not a clue
Like Leibeiw15
intitials won't matter 5 tacos for you
The same for STG

Chalupas the Wild Man sends
to all of my Amiright friends
Hope the comedy never ends
For The Parody Police:Lennon /McCartney original songwritersThe song was also covered by Joe Cocker in the 70's decade

Wow, my first mention in someone else's parody! I'm honored, Wild Man. Nice job, btw! Also, nice choices for the Chalupa awards! Looking forward to the next round! (Exits humming "Tequila" interrupted by the occasional joyous cry of "Chalupas!")

Thanks for all your comments! I realized that a few people were not mentioned , so I'll make sure I'll include them next month. It's impossable to mention every good parody (and every one) in one parody. If we have an extra ordinary August. I may have to write a "Chalupa Rapsody " or a " Bye Bye thought I missed ya July"

Thanks Wild Man - once again you pay us tribute and honor. Nice song too. These beatles songs seem to work for you on these tributes. Keep 'em comin' once a month. This is now a new site feature. Nice idea.

I have to agree with you Guy, The Beatles have mass appeal. Yes Mike, I do keep a "list-o-rine" of writers who do creative and extra ordinary works. I like when people use new ideas and concepts. Sometimes the votes do not refect this, because most people tend to read and vote on works of parody writers we are familiar with.

Cheers, Wild Man! I guess what you'd need to do with really busy months is go for songs with lots of words: the Major-General's song by Gilbert & Sullivan is a goodie when there's a lot to say... come to think of it, most G&S songs are (to quote Tom Lehrer) "full of lots of words and music and signifying nothing"

Thanks a million for the chalupa, Wild. I'll go right to Taco Bell and eat one in your honor. And put it on your tab.

I still don't quite get what "chalupas" are. Is it something one can frame and hang? Or do you eat it right away?

Rick, Five Chalupas = a 5 Vote. WM was reading a taco bell parody, and he gave it 5 Chalupas. For a while, that was his trade mark for a top vote. Every month he writes a parody he named the "Chalupa Awards" It's not the result of a collective voting process, it does showcase some of the parody highlights of the month. Last month we were on vacation, so he decided that a Halloween Party parody would be used in leu of the Chalupa Award. I Hope you enjoyed this bit of history.
