The Lyrics

Based on cats apparently having 9 lives...... n.b. No animals were harmed in the writing of this parody.
Your cat's got in the way of my car again
If your wonderin' why its not looking the same

Oh yes I ran it down
And that's a fact
Its lying still on the floor, yeow!
I've killed your cat!?

Well, its the eighth time, Ive hit him stalking my car
If he does it just one more time, his fate is a jar
Oh please now, do not frown
(Do not frown)
And look like that
(Don't you frown and look like that)
Because I've asked you before, to,
Control your cat

Tigger sure is mean,
"Cause Im the one he picks on most
The neighbour's seen
Him stalking all day and stealing my post
So keep Tigger from me, if he wants to see nine
I cant stop his actions, you know Im not unkind

Don't wanna run him down
(Run him down)
And that's a fact
(Don't wanna run him down and leave him flat)
You know Ive asked you before, oh,
Control your cat

Miaow!
(Control your cat x 5)

Everybody's seen
The way he lies in wait for me
Its quite obscene
Him stalking all day, he wont go away
So keep Tigger home some if he wants to see nine
Im getting more paranoid-on edge all the time

Next time I run him down
(Run him down)
That will be that
(If I run him down that will be that)
Because I've begged you before, to,
Control your cat.

I'm a pretty big Beatles fan but it still took me a while to remember this song. I like the way you worked in the background lines like, "(Don't wanna run him down and leave him flat)". Good job on the whole thing.

Control a cat? Since when has mortal man been able to do that. You know the joke. Dog: "He feeds me, he brushes me, he takes are of my every need. He must be a god." Cat: "He feeds me, he brushes me, he takes are of my every need. I must be a god." Patrick: http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/thebeatles600.shtml
