| Parody Song Title: | "I Love Johnny (Cash)" |
| Parody Written by: | MooRocca |
He had a boy whose name was Sue
Walked the line in prison blues
Dressed head to toe in black attire
Burning in his ring of fire
I love Johnny,
I love Johnny.
And he never took his guns to town
Sunday morning, comin' down
Johnny's just what the preacher ordered
Mean as hell, he never picked cotton
I love Johnny,
I love Johnny.
Johnny's broken heart, his tear-stained letter
Oh I like Johnny he keeps gettin' better
Someday soon he'll have to go
And I'll miss Johnny's music so.
I love Johnny,
I love Johnny.
Walked the line in prison blues
Dressed head to toe in black attire
Burning in his ring of fire
I love Johnny,
I love Johnny.
And he never took his guns to town
Sunday morning, comin' down
Johnny's just what the preacher ordered
Mean as hell, he never picked cotton
I love Johnny,
I love Johnny.
Johnny's broken heart, his tear-stained letter
Oh I like Johnny he keeps gettin' better
Someday soon he'll have to go
And I'll miss Johnny's music so.
I love Johnny,
I love Johnny.

This was a fitting tribute to Johnny, nice work.
So if I'm reading this right, you wrote this before Johnny died, and the posts came afterward? It's cool regardless.
Yep, in fact, I wrote it even before June died... back when it could still be a happy song. Thanks Spaff. :)
Definitely missed this the first time around. A good tribute.
Thanks Jeff!
