Parody Song Title:

"Mystery People"

Parody Written by:

Alvin Rhodes

sometimes, there's fright
righting the wrongs
for some relief, they do a song
there's daphne and velma and shaggy and fred
into danger, this group is led

hiya, mystery people...yeah yeah

fred is the cool one
and daphne is the blonde one
and velma is the fat one
and shaggy is the skinny one
different folks, who whiff out ghosts
they roll on, they roll on
with scooby dooby dooby
ooh rowr rowr
they drive around together

they should know better
these plots ain't brand new
always the same
they look for a clue
they find 'em
unmask 'em
explain what they did
soon, some figure shouts, "you meddlin' kids ! "

hiya...mystery people

5's, so tell us - - - it was the "scooby dooby" part of the original song's chorus that gave you the idea, wasn't it? That sort of thing (a few key words and sounds in the original song) has given me plenty of parody ideas.

thanks guy, paul and johnny...and yes, johnny, the whole idea stemmed from the scooby dooby dooby...the only mention the poor pup got, aside from the rowr rowr...my wife is a MAJOR doo fan. she can recite dialogue along with the show...jenkies !
