Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Rocky Stop"

Parody Written by:

Airfarcewon

I recall the first old Rocky show,
Nineteen and seventy six
It's still branded on my mind as one,
Of my favorite flicks

Talia Shire, Burgess Meredith,
Carl Weathers, also Burt Young
Sly ran steps in Philadelphia,
Critics praises were sung

Rocky Stop, When will that be?
Who shall live to see,
Good Old Rocky Stop...
When Stallone's ninety three?
When Stallone's ninety three!

Rocky II came out in Sev'nty Nine,
And it was another Hit,
In this one, He beats up Apollo, too
Sly directed it

Rocky III was Nineteen Eighty Two,
Sly's still good in a spat
His opponent now is Mister "T"
Beats him down to the mat

Rocky Stop, When will that be?
Who shall live to see,
Good Old Rocky Stop...
When Stallone's ninety three?
When Stallone's ninety three!

Rocky IV played Nineteen Eighty Five,
Poor Apollo went zip
Sly took on one giant Russian guy,
Made that Soviet trip

Rocky V..It's Nineteen Ninety now,
It got+ lousy reviews
Rocky VI they say is still on hold,
Ain't got anymore news

Rocky Stop, When will that be?
Who shall live to see,
Good Old Rocky Stop...
When Stallone's ninety three?
When Stallone's ninety three..ee..ee!

When I first started reading this I was thinking Rocky Horror and I was saying what is Stallone doing in Rocky Horror? Then the light came on. This rocks!

Yes! I don't think I've every been able to sit all the way through a Stallone film.

If I'm not mistaken, the Osborne Brothers (no relation to Ozzy, I don't think!) had the major hit with this song.

Great job, AFW. The final Rocky takes place in a nursing home, with a fight to the death over some jello... I think lol. 555

A knockout of a parody...I thought it was about the Horror Picture Show too until I got to the "Sly" reference. Great commentary on sequel fever in general, too....I figure someone will find a way to CGI Rocky's look perfectly in a few years. ;-)
