I've vacationed on the Outer Banks many times --- obviously, you were north of Cape Hatteras! LOL !! Of course, in January, I don't think even the light brush of the Gulf Stream along Ocracoke Island would be enough to keep your nipples happy... ;-)
This was totally cool and stoked and stuff.
The closest I've come to this is jet-skiing on a stand up in November and March (both on the 15th, coincides with the score I gave you). Both days it was around 75* air temp. In November, the water was still 65 or so, but in March it was maybe 50. I froze more than my nipples in March.
