The Lyrics

Random thought recently
Callin' out under the road
We've been down here a gruesome hour
Feel the chill, we will hide here still
For dancing in sewers

We're dancing under towns
Down by all the slime
One big bathroom don't smell fine

All we need is music, sweet music
There's a huge alligator
Just avoid it, noise it and sing and voice it
For dancing in sewers

Oh, it doesn't matter what you wear
No one knows that we are there
So come on, everyone grab some slime
Fling it 'round, it's a good time

We'll be dancin'
We're dancing in sewers

We're just all in here to avoid cold weather
A chance for you to hold your nose
We'll be doin' all of the raunchy dancin'
And we could take off our clothes

Under every city
(Under every city)
It's so really grimy
(It's so really grimy)
Yeah but it's warmer down here now
(But it's warmer down here)

We'll listen to music, crappy music
Where people cuss every word
And where they speak instructions on dancin'
Best stuff that we ever heard

Oh, other people say we have no taste
We'll glue them to the wall with paste
So come on, everyone, grab some slime
Tastes like tap beer, sublime

We'll be dancin'
Dancin' in sewers

And it's really flooded down here
(Really flooded down here)
But there is no drought here
(But there's no drought here)
Yeah this place could use some cleanup
(Place could use some cleanup)

And we're washed out to the next town soon
We crawl out up the ladder out the manhole, find our way back
We'll be back here next week, next week

Art Carney would've liked this..if you're old enough to know who he was, and what show he was famous for.

"crappy music where people cuss every word" rap? gee now I don't know what stinks more the sewer or the music they're dancing to 5's

Thanks Jonathan, I was referring to a specific irritating song I keep hearing like that which happens to be rap, but that can mean any song where they cuss a whole lot. Just was putting a lot of sarcasm in this at that point

Trying to drag the site down to my level, huh? Quirky take on a great oldie.

I'm feeling sticky....I need to take a hot shower after reading that....Maybe I should try singing it to really come clean....The acoustics may be similar to a sewer (now I'm really feeling dirty)
