The Lyrics

Now here's a little story
Of vain and foolish pride
About a fallen hero
Succumbed to the dark side
Fear did lead to anger
Anger led to hate
Hate then led to suffering
For him it's now too late

Oh, my old man's Darth Vader
The Emperor's right hand
The crushing of the rebels
Is what he's trying to plan
Building another Death Star
There's lots of work to do
The Emperor is most upset
So Vader scares the crew

My mate Han Solo got captured
And taken to the Hutt
Now breaking in to rescue him's
A big pain in the butt
My droids are flippin' useless
Negotiate? Fat chance!
Now Jabba's being stubborn
So I do the Rancor dance

Oh, my old man's Darth Vader
The Emperor's right hand
The crushing of the rebels
Is what's he trying to plan

I say, I say, Han
I know what you're getting for Christmas
(Well, how's that, then?)
I felt your presents!

So my old man's Darth Vader
The Empire's Two I.C.
His boss has paid a visit
In his ear there's a flea
"The Death Star will complete quite soon,
"Now may I hunt my son?"
"Patience," says the Emperor
"We've only just begun."

Oh, my old man's Darth Vader
The Emperor's right hand
The crushing of the rebels
Is what he's trying to plan

I say, I say, I say
Two droids were talking
Says one, "Did you beat the Wookiee at Dejarikk?"
"Yes, but it cost me an arm and a leg."

I dropped in to see Yoda
He's looking pretty grim
Nine hundred years old he did reach
It don't agree with him
He said, "You must face Vader
Then a Jedi you will be
There is another Skywalker
I'm coming, Kenobi!"

Oh, my old man's Darth Vader
The Emperor's right hand
The crushing of the rebels
Is what he's trying to plan

I say, I say, I say (What? You again?)
Yoda and Obi-Wan were in a bar
(And?)
Yoda said, "Some credits may I borrow? A little short I am!"

My mates invaded Endor
And broke the Death Star's shield
While I faced down the Emperor
And the Force I learned to wield
It tested Vader's loyalties
Salvation was the prize
He helped me kill the Emperor
He's one of the good guys

Oh, my old man's Darth Vader
The Emperor's right hand
The crushing of the rebels
Is what he used to plan
Next time you see a Jedi
Turning to the bad
Please step in and show him the light
It might be my old dad

Simply brilliant, Alex :-) Is this your first here? Can't quite believe it's a first parody, though.

Ironic that Lord Vader was the Emperor's right hand, since he didn't have one himself. (Remember, he first lost it in Episode II vs. Count Dooku, and for at least the second time in Episode VI vs. Luke.)

I love the 'I say, I say, I say' bits, especially the 'I can feel your presents' one!

This isn't my first parody, though this is my first time publicising them (submitted four others the same day as this one). Thanks for the kind words.
