The Lyrics
Hey everyone. This is a LOTR parody sung by Gandalf to the Council of Elrond. It's mostly about how he's worked to save Middle-Earth from Sauron. I plan to do more LOTR parodies (which are all going to be book based) once I get a few more ideas. Hopefully they will be better than this one. I don't think it's all that good but I had to write it or else I would forget it.
Hey fellas, have you heard the news, you know that Sauron's back in town
It won't take long just watch and see how the Nazgul lay resistance down
His ring appeared and his strength is renewed as it was so long ago
With his Red Eye, the Ring he will find and his darkness will flow
It's been two thousand years and maybe more since I left the west land
Those years weren't wasted, now it's time for Sauron's death I demand
Some elves will die and some dwarves will fry, some ladies will lose their love
But I'll just keep on fighting along, with the grace of Eru above
Mirkwood's talking all around 'bout the way I won Helm's Deep
Erebor's under dwarf control, Sauron grows restless in sleep
One thing I do have on my mind, it's that ring O' yes it's true
I don't even care if Rohan calls me bad names, when I try my best help you
Work so hard work all the time, to get Middle-Earth saved
I'll use Strider when it is time, men's fate with him does lie

Yeah...it's redundant for Gandalf to tell the Council of Elrond about the Battle of Helms Deep, since it happened after that...just say that he has the power of foresight...or make some better line than that. :-)
