The Lyrics

A pen pal challenged me to parody "Make Someone Happy," but the first line of the parody had to be "Make some song happy." This is it.

Make some song happy,
Make that old song less nappy,
Make that song really rappy, sing it.
Re-write that spoon tune,
Or that tired old moon and June tune,
Then once again we'll croon it.

D Js wouldn't spin it,
Nor even bear and grin it.
That old song had no life left in it.
Re-write's the answer.
Brand new lyrics make it fancier.
Once you've found them,
Build the song around them.

Make some song happy,
Make that song really snappy,
And you will be happy too.
