Yes, AFAIK any recognized group pf people should be capitalized. Gay, Black, Lesbian, She-male, Cablasian (Thanks Tiger Woods), etc...!!!

For the record I dated a Cablasian girl in 1984- long before Tiger Woods ever coined that term. Her mother was White and her father was Black-Japanese. Quite exotic for the time...
