The Lyrics

Henry? Henery? 'Enery? OS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2fbpCUmrTE
King Henery the Ninth, I’m not!
Henery the Ninth, I’m not, I’m not!
I’m no monarch, and I never will be;
There’s too many people ‘head of me!
Queen Lizzie Two, she’s my Grandmama. (Grandmama!)
And when she dies, the throne goes to my pop. (King Chuck!)
I can’t claim this man’s inheritance.
Henery the Ninth, I’m not!

Second verse: stuck with the curse!

King Henery the Ninth, I’m not!
Henery the Ninth, I’m not, I’m not!
Call me Harry; call me crazy and free!
Just don’t call me “Hey, Your Majesty!”
Now, after Dad, comes my brother Wills. (Gives girls chills!)
And then, my nephew Georgie takes the slot. (Cute tot!)
I’ll remain His Royal Relative;
Henery the Ninth, I’m not!

(instrumental break)

King Henery the Ninth, I’m not!
Henery the Ninth, I’m not, I’m not!
I’m no monarch, and I never will be;
Just be glad I’m not like Richard 3!
Now sometimes I ran the gunnery. (Gunnery!)
I flew the helicopter ‘round a lot. (Not shot!)
I’m a prince, a star, a warrior:
Henery the Ninth, I’m not!

H-E-L-L, no!
Royal thing. (Loves to swing!)
Not a king. (Not his thing!)
Henery the Ninth, I’m not, I’m not!
Henery the Ninth, I’m not!
(No!)

Very good Melanie Lee. The only thing wrong with this parody is your reluctance to use the hyperlinks mechanism shown on the parody submission page and forcing readers to cut and paste different web pages. The proper way to construct a link is: Site name. Replace the http://www.amiright.com with the URL (address) of your website, don't leave amiright.com in there, and make website name the description of the link. Links to sites which practice hate speech will not be permitted.

No one should poke fun at a soldier, not even a Royal. Low marks.

Excellent stuff - and you've kept this remarkably clean, given some of the stuff Harry gets up to :-)

Looks like Harry will have to settle for being to the future George VII what Lord Mountbatten was to Charles: The somewhat roguish war hero uncle who leads him to places both high and low.

Congrats to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their Royal Wedding--now the Duke and Duchess of Success...er, Sussex!
