The Lyrics

Harry Belafonte released this one in 1956. Call me demented, but I actually got the idea for this one last night when I was sleeping. I had an appointment to see my chiropractor this moring (as I do every other Saturday).
Pain-o! Pain-o!
(Chiropractor's gotta crack my bones)
Pain, I'm in pain, It's insane, Muscle strain-o
(Chiropractor's gotta patch my bones)

Wrenched me back and the pain soon come
(Chiropractor's gotta crack my bones)
To lift like that, I should abstain from
(Chiropractor's gotta patch my bones)

Come mister chiroman, I need an adjustment
(Chiropractor's gotta crack my bones)
Come mister chiroman, my back feels like it's busted
(Chiropractor's gotta patch my bones)

Move L2, L3, L4, crunch
(Chiropractor, He just cracked my bones)
C3, C4, C5, crunch
(Feel much better, now I can go home)

Pain, no more pain-o
(Adjustment done, now I can go home)
Oops, slipped again, I'm in pain, it's insane, muscle strain, constant pain-o
(Chiropractor's gotta patch my bones)

I need adjustment, soothe me back, son
(Chiropractor's gotta crack my bones)
I need adjustment, I'm in traction
(Chiropractor's gotta patch my bones)

Move L2, L3, L4, crunch
(Chiropractor, He just cracked my bones)
C3, C4, C5, crunch
(Chiropractor, He just patched my bones)

Come mister chiroman, give me an adjustment
(Chiropractor's gotta crack my bones)
Come mister chiroman, my back feels like it's busted
(Chiropractor's gotta patch my bones)

Pain-o! Pain-o!
(Chiropractor's gotta crack my bones)
Pain, slipped again, I'm in pain, it's insane, muscle strain, constant pain-o
(Chiropractor's gotta patch my bones)

L5 -- sacrum disk is my problem area ... altho not as problematic as yours appears to be. Never been to a specialist about it ... yet

Another of those "echo" songs. Tough to do. Do you still record? I remember this one from growing up in the early 1960's, when it was commonly played on radio and TV. I can feel your pain.

Yeah. I wrote and recorded this one. I am glad that I had so many effect processors for this one. I reverbed the hell out of the opening line. I had my Alesis Nanoverb and my Behringer DR100 both set to max on reverb to make it sound like the original. The recording for this one is posted here.

There have been times in the past where my back was SO bad that I could barely walk. I actually had to use a walker just to get to the bathroom. I got an adjustment from my chiropractor and within 24 hours, i was back to normal.
