We're doing _Hamlet_.
Clouds are getting dark,
So it's a gambit.
Will we all be drenched
Before Act V is through?

Something, when I woke,
Looked quite foreboding--
Something that could soak
Our period clothing,
Something that we dread
More than a bad review.

Shakespeare in the park?
What were we thinking when we
Set off on this lark?
Had we been drinking when we
Built this outdoor stage
Where the tempests rage?
'Cause you never know, Ophelia,
What the weatherman will deal ya.

Off the playbills float,
Just soggy rarities.
Backstage is a moat,
Where lies Laertes.
Let us disembark
