We were content to call them hypocrites:

Far from the Far Right crowd?

Who could see that a man would come
Who would change the shape of our base?
Helpless, you must hide distain
As we’re naming John McCain.

Is this a stomach-churning choice for you,
O’Reilly? Hannity?
We must unite against the Black and Shrew—
Must beat the Leftist crowd.

Toward the convention, settled long ago,
We must go. We must go.
Destiny drags us kicking, screaming, so
