"Kickin' In My Back Door"

Parody Written by:

Alvin Rhodes

The Lyrics

boy, these cops can sure annoy
broke my back door, oh boy
they knocked me down
cuffed my wrists on the porch
miranda rights i'm gettin'
its my doom, i'm sensin'
doot doot doot...kickin' in my back door

they heard i'm doin' drug deals
there's statutes 'gainst that 'round here
look at all the happy coppers
tramplin' down my lawn
its pot plants i've been growin'
its off to jail, i'm goin'
doot doot doot...kickin' in my back door

my arrest is imminent
they say i must be banned
guess i'll take a ride
with those blue-clad goons...doo doo doo
they're on a raidin' mission
they show up like magicians
doot doot doot...kickin' in my back door

they seem so malevolent
while seekin' contraband
they all burst inside
trashed my livin' room...doo doo doo
bail me out tomorrow
find money you can borrow
doot doot doot...kickin' in my back door

evil bastards, they employ
smashed my back door, oh boy
its illegal search and seizure
stay off of my lawn
come back 'round tomorrow
today, i need no sorrow
doot doot doot...kickin' in my back door

I liked this one a bunch. CCR songs are just so ripe for parodying, which makes me wonder why the hell I haven't done more. Eh. Anyway, good job dude.

Alvin - Great job! Suitable warped for my tastes, of course. 5's. It also gives me the urge to plug MY version of this original song, "Counting Spots on The Floor", which I composed very, very late in the evening on my next to last day of my last job, Dec. 30th, 2003. That one was extremely demented and I loved writing it.

Hell yeah on that song. Exact pacing, spleen bursting comedy, and great word choice. 10000000 outta 10
