The Lyrics

There's something happening here
And what it is is exactly clear
There's a band with a song over there
Telling creep he better beware

Artists tell Scump to stop
Now using their sounds
Many of them say
That's not allowed

The battle lines have been drawn
Using unauthorized music is wrong
Exploiting musical minds is not right
Because they do not like his vibe

Tell Dump to stop
Hey, using their sounds
The best bands say
That's not allowed

They want to see the creep beat (Ooh ooh ooh)
Would love to see him really creamed
(Ooh ooh ooh)
Dems with their songs has them feeling fine
(Ooh ooh ooh)
Are glad to help the righteous side
(Ooh ooh ooh)

Told Rump to stop
Hey, playing their sounds
Top artists say
That's not allowed

Frump's a psychotic freak
100% a creep
That's why artists want him to fade
They surely don't want any part of his parade

Tell Flump to stop
Hey, using their sounds
Best bands do say
That's not allowed

This issue was settled back in the 60s and 70s in most countries in the free world. Back then it was leftist parties that used music and right side parties that protested wildly and took it courts. All over the free world those reached pretty much the same conclusion; once artists and labels have put a song in public domain as to make money from it they no longer has any say in who gets to play it, when and where and to who.

Right side politicians were furious, but it's the only logical conclusion, just imagine to what horrible lenghts the justice system would be bogged down if artist could stop people they don't like from played by people they don't like - for political reasons, etnical, religious or whatnot.

It be like turning cancel culture up to eleven: "My name is Taylor Swift and as of right now every gym owner in the US that has liked Trumps' latest tweet are not allowed to play my songs, I've told my lawyers to sue teh s*** outta you gym daddies if they hear about anything such."

Two generations down the road it's reversed roles, the left has become the right, and the right has become the left, at least on this issue, and it's not gonna change because like I said courts worldwide have already settled this according to the only possible logical outcome unless you gonna overturn the whole biggest and most profitable entertainment model in human history. Maybe movies and teve is bigger, but the point still stands. Artists will continue for a while to rant that I'm-against-this-or-that-son-of-a-XXX basis, but it's just hot air, virtue signaling self-vaccination against cancellation - methinks they should write new songs with new lyrics bashing whatever they don't like instead, time better spent.
