The Lyrics

I thought it would be funny to do this. I have long wanted to do this parody.
Picture yourself being Ricky Ricardo
With a gray suit and a redheadded wife
your wife is asking you, if she can be in the show
Say no and wet her eyes

You have neighbors, one of which is Ethel
The other one is Fred
Look at the heart with just one letter "I"
The theme song

Lucy is your wife, Ricardo
[Lucy cries]
Lucy is your wife, Ricardo
[Ricky: "You've got some 'splainin' to do!"]
Lucy is your wife, Ricardo, Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!

You're the bandleader at the Tropicana
Once, Lucy was a clown, hit with a pie
Everyone smiles as Lucy gets in trouble
Laughs grow so incredibly high

Lucy Ricardo appears in the show
After you tell her "No way!"
Club is the place where you recognize her in the show
and you're gone

Lucy is your wife, Ricardo
[Lucy: "Vita-meata-vegamin!"]
Lucy is your wife, Ricardo
[Lucy sings a sour note]
Lucy is your wife, Ricardo, Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!

The show is still on many TV stations
It's been syndicated for all of their lives
Suddenly you see yourself, Fred, and Ethel
And girl with the big red hair

Lucy is your wife, Ricardo
[Candy Factory Boss: "Speed it up a Little!"]
Lucy is your wife, Ricardo
[Ricky: "You've got some 'splainin' to do!"]
Lucy is your wife, Ricardo, Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!
Lucy is your wife, Ricardo
[Lucy cries]
Lucy is your wife, Ricardo
[Ricky: "You've got some 'splainin' to do!"]
Lucy is your wife, Ricardo, Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!

Good job! BTW, if you want to hear something REALLY funny, try to get a CD of Golden Thorats and listen to William Shatner's Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.

Oh, a wisenheimer, are ya? Listen, pal, if you want real comedy, check out my show, right, Alice?

Ahhhh, shaddup.

Pretty good, but (WARNING: Cheerful little nitpick ahead) how can you do a parody of "I Love Lucy" without mentioning about how Fred Mertz was cheap? Except for Jack Benny and MAYBE George Costanza of "Seinfeld," nobody in TV history was more parsimonious.

I agree Ralph, our show was funnier than Lucy, but this wiseguy hasn't seen our show in ages! I give him 5,5,5.
