wednesday morning at five o'clock as the day begins
silently cracking his bedroom door
telling that brat, we can't take it no more
we go downstairs...past the kitchen
but there is no relief
starting today, he'll be breakfast-free
slender, he's going to be

he (he's been fat all of his life)
is leaving (chubby for all of his life)
home (don't wanna diet, but we'll make him try)
he's leaving home cause he's not just big-boned
as it might appear
he'a leaving home...bye bye

he looks scared as the bus comes by and he leaves the town
off to the fat camp, they built out there
giving up food may be too much to bear
he breaks down and cries cause he's hungry
sadly, the bus rolls on
why do we treat him so thoughtlessly ?
cause he's as fat as can be
he (he made a pig of himself)
is leaving (made a big hog of himself)
home (we told him not to have seconds of pie)

as it might appear

friday morning at nine o'clock, he has starved all day
working to reach the weight goal that he made
praying to god that his fat will fade
he (he didn't know it was wrong)
is leaving (how could just eating be wrong)
home (he could be thinner if only he'd try)
weight will subside if some foods are denied
it will disappear
then he'll go home...bye bye
