Loved this, IB; it almost made me homesick...and it looks like you've done your research! (For those not up on their Wagga Wagga facts...Murrumbidgee is the river running through my hometown, and the "Wagga Effect" is used to explain the ridiculously high number of renowned sportspersons who hail from my part of the world, compared to the fairly paltry population.)

Though I've read a few parodies of this OS, I think today is the first time I've heard it. Great tribute to a great writer.
(ABC) another great assortment of leftfield Aussie pickups IB, like spotted dick, etc. very droll and deft use of rhymes and humour as usual - bit short but that's the OS - 555
(ABC) I like tributes. Nice references. Hilarious line at the first (...blah), but then got a little anemic. You messed up the rhythm on the "spotted dick" line: too many syllables. Pretty good job overall. 5-4-4.
