Song Parodies -> Uncle Sam's Restaurant
| Original Song Title: | "Alice's Restaurant (only the song, not the story)" |
| Original Performer: | Arlo Guthrie |
| Parody Song Title: | "Uncle Sam's Restaurant" |
| Parody Written by: | Johnny D |
My Dad's brother Sam was an American Veteran who passed away years ago while marching in his hometown's Memorial Day parade. My Uncle Sam would host a family reunion pig-roast barbecue at his home every year on the Fourth of July. Uncle Sam was a mountain of a man ... a physically huge guy with a heart to match. The first part of this parody is dedicated to my beloved Uncle Sam, and is absolutely true ... the second part of this parody is absolutely false ... or is it ?

Cute. Didja read the Alice's Restaurant parody elsewhere on the site that somehow managed to cover the entire 18 minute saga? I hear the author is still in recuperation. ;)
Not bad.
