| Original Song Title: | "I Will Wait for You" |
| Original Performer: | Andy Williams |
| Parody Song Title: | "In the Waiting Room" |
| Parody Written by: | Barry J. Mitchel |
During this Memorial Day weekend, I remembered this OS about war interrupting love. I use it to warn of US universal health insurance interrupting health care service. See another parody on Cuban social services.
If it takes forever in the waiting room,
For a million dollars I would like to sue
Skilled Barack who lied, three trillion sold to you.
Still I jeered; you cried cheers for his charms.
With health care to squander, in ER you'll go;
There you may remember now fed gov prints dough.
Is your heart aggrieved when service is so slow
That forevermore you'll wait in queue?
The clock will tick away the hours, sun to sun;
Then the time will come when, called by nature, run!
In line when you return, you'll find three Mexican
Natives from migrating farms.
If it takes forever while ill fate I rue,
For such lousy bummers I'll berate those new
Bureaucrats who guide me in so much I do.
I'll forevermore swear at big gov.
For a million dollars I would like to sue
Skilled Barack who lied, three trillion sold to you.
Still I jeered; you cried cheers for his charms.
With health care to squander, in ER you'll go;
There you may remember now fed gov prints dough.
Is your heart aggrieved when service is so slow
That forevermore you'll wait in queue?
The clock will tick away the hours, sun to sun;
I do not disparage Mexicans who stay there or become US citizens with intent to assimilate.
