The Lyrics

We do chase scenes...
Barbara and Bill: Section Arena! La, la! (scatting lyrics)
Duke: You're destorying the castle!
Mirror: A crumbling castle's better for throwing!
Duke: You almost hit me!
Mirror: That's the idea!
Barbara and Bill: As Duke Duke ducked in fear, one detail become clear.
Bill: Through princely and a noble man...
Barbara: He climbed there without a plan!
Both: What was he thinking?
Duke: They're right. I need a plan. If I only had a way to dodge rocks, I was more bouncy.
Gnome Pea: Did somebody say "bouncy?"
Knight #1: Bouncing, so cute.
King: Duke, be careful! I won't get you hurt!
Duke: I won't get hurt, Dad!
Gnome Pea: INCOMING!
King: I do want you to stop him for getting the crown!
Duke: You might as well give up. You're never gonna reach the crown!
Mirror: Does anyone move?
Duke: Dad, he's gonna drop Cheating Beauty!
Mirror: Face it, Darius! You'll never be beautiful as Cheating.
Duke: Dad, do something!
King: He was right all along. Not caring for anyone or anything; I am no longer fit for the crown.
Cheating: You are now, King Darius!
Mirror: You woke up?
Cheating: There's beauty inside of ya!
King: (stunned) drank the wrong drink!
Cheating: Turkey dinners always make me sleepy.
Mirror: Well, then; what happened to the "real" drink?
King: Mirror, I don't care about that crown anymore. I order you to let that girl go!
Mirror: As you wish, sire...
King: Wait! I should've phrased that differently.
(Mirror drops Cheating, all scream, scatting lyrics, bouncing again)
Mirror: No! Fine! You may saved Cheating, I still have the crown!
Gnome Pea: I can shoot an acorn out of my bellybutton.
Mirror: Where?

So that we do chase scenes, I couldn't have Barbara and Bill sing the score until the animation was already finished. We recorded it; no, I'm sorry. We laid it out in storyboards, then a music director wrote it and gave it back to the Top Tomato and then he sang it.

I do think we do chase scenes. We released "Lyle, the Kindly Viking". They were through the sea, they were on the ship, a wave is in the back of the background. So, like Jason said: "We couldn't have Barbara and Bill sing the score until the animation's already done". It's sort of a chicken and an egg theme.
