The Lyrics

Twitter... a new dating service, yes or no?
Verse 1: What’s somebody like you doin’ on a site like this?
Say, did you blog before?
Or were you just forced by friends?
Says username: Mrs.Hottie
Bet you got a real nice body
Baby, are you new?
Follow me, I’ll follow you
So what’s somebody like you doing on the Twitter now?
Three, two, one, Come on

Chorus: I’ll never be the same, if we never tweet again
Don’t stop your commenting, said if we never tweet again
This website’s, shown the light
I’ll tweet all night, won’t waste a gigabyte
I’ll never go offline if we never tweet again

Ohhhhhh….
Ohhhhhh….
Said if we never tweet again

Verse 2: Do you sign on much?
I swear I’ve seen your page before (before yeah)
And with a gentle touch
I can see your posts and more (more)
Baby, Twitter your whole story
And I won’t think it’s boring
I’m flirting with my tweets
Wanna skype with you my sweet
So do you sign on much?
I gotta view your page some more (some more)
Cuz baby

Chorus: I may just go insane, if we never tweet again
Love all these cyber-dates, but if we never tweet again
We’re online, all the time
It’s no crime, I’m a word and you’re my rhyme
I love this cyber-game, I hope you will just tweet again

Bridge: If we never tweet again (again)
Our love won’t just go away
If we never tweet again
If we never tweet again (again)
I’ll still love you anyway
If we never tweet again
If we never, never tweet again (again)
Our love won’t just go away
If we never tweet again
If we never, never tweet again (again)
I’ll still love you anyway

Chorus: I love you MachoMayne, if you never tweet again
You occupy my brain, but if we never tweet again
This domain, so insane
Let’s run a-way maybe we could go to Spain
I’ll hop onto a plane, not if we never tweet again

Chorus: I’ll wait here night and day, if we never tweet again
Won’t log off username, but if we never tweet again
This Twitter, big hitter
It glitters, like a brand new transmitter
I’ll never stray away, if we never tweet again

Outro: Just when at last we get to meet
Are not what we’d like to think
But I love you for the time
We had spent while were online
Yes, couldn’t picture this
And no, I’m not bitter
I’ve met my true love

Shouldn't a song like this be 140 letters or less? Good title switch, good parody too, maybe a little too much of the original left in here and there, but then again that helped the story to progress nicely in a manner that felt right so I'm OK with it I guess. 555.

(ABC) Very clever...well....that's what everyone is tweeting about...LOL

I agree with Peter here. It is a clever sub, but could have used more funny lines.

Good tweet, good tweet. Hard song to parody, the pacing doesn't lend itself well to funny rhymes, but you carried it well. I liked how you kept the 'conversation' of the song intact, just in tweet form. Well done.

ABC: Nice work! I had to read it a couple times...not because I thought the pacing was off or anything, but because Katy Perry was in the video and I wasn't focused on the parody the first time through haha. Nice job!

Noticed this one on recent comments (I'm so bad at checking new parodies as of late) and I'm so glad I did. I liked this a lot, Blaydeman!!

(ABC) another Katy perry song, and another song that is a back in forth convo, strange coincidence right? anyway good job on this one bro, not your best, you coulda made it funnier, but it's still pretty good. nice job!

I personally thought that the parody borrowed too much concept from the original. The idea is good, but on a comedy end I felt it didn't play on the twitter enough being a virtual world, and a big twist at the end like it being a man or a 100 year old woman would have put it on a different level-as it is the ending was somewhat of a eh-okay. . .Sorry, you know me--I'm always honest with my opinions buddy. . .

(ABC) Definitely an interesting idea, but like Dave I felt you didn't play with said idea enough. As is it's okay, great pacing and all, but kinda bland funny-wise.

Well done here. Never used Twitter before but I understand the gist of what you're talking about.
