Another parody-of-a-parody from JAB's work. The terminology attracted me, so I substituted tactical shotgun designations for fun :)

(and no, you aren’t crazy- just so impractical)

Growing up in the mid-west...used to hunt small game with a 410 and 16 gauge
Used to hunt, but with a rifle. Have had lots of shotguns, but all tactical with lights, designators, and railings plus occasionally a shroud and ammo mount! Best shotguns in the world for assault and HRU work are Italian: Beretta, Benelli, & Franchi. Amazingly, the Germans don't use this category of weapon. In WW2, they used Drillings which were/are combo weapons of 2x shotgun guages mixed with the equivalent of a .357 magnum round underneath. Junkers bomber crews had them in Russia for self-defence and offense, the Drillings able to disable small vehicles and trucks.
Rob - When I worked in West Virginia, the local Moose Lodge raffled off a strange firearm called a Snake Charmer. It was a double-barreled 410 shotgun! Ever hear of such a thing? ;D
OMR, there are several firearms called "Snake Charmer" made by different manufactuers. Rossi makes a single-barrel SC pistol while EAA makes the .410 single-barrel shotgun that uses new synthetics vs wood furniture. There has been talk of a double-barrel SC in .410 but all I could find online was a custom cammo job under that designation:
