The big Los Angeles gun buy back netted two empty plastic tubes from fired AT4 or M72 launchers. $200 each. I could have gotten the sellers more than that. I wish they would have another one here in KC, and offer some serious prices. Last time I sold broken shotguns, cap pistols, low grade Saturday Night Specials for $50 each and used money to buy good gun. Next time, forget the grocery coupons and offer serious cash. Collectors and amateur gunsmiths turn in their rusty junk, widows turn in their late husbands valuable collector items. Politicians have photo op, even if they have to bring in assault rifles from somewhere else. Anything good, the cops grab for themselves or to resell on the street.
Cali does both the cash and coupons as well as good will turn-ins... just depends on the region. Cali also has the most guns in the US, more than Texas!!! In LA alone gang-members are said to possess millions and then there's the illegal border guns. Due to the massacres and threat of new legislation, Cali arms sales are way up. I want to go out and buy too but don't have the budget anymore for vast arsenals of combo weapons. And some of the best I can't get, even from another state. Would love a Nikonov An-94 assault rifle + GSh-18 pistol. The Kriss Vector SMG looks neat too as well as the ATI Zombie version of the Rossi Revolver Rifle! Thrown in some Italian tactical shotguns, a Walther P-99QA .40 cal, and an Erma SR-100 .338LM sniper. Maybe a Beretta M94R 3-rd burst pistol too and of course a good old Mauser K98K with 4x scope :)
