First attempt at doing Metal... most of this is shouted, but have to obey the no ALL CAPS ban!!!
Last ditch efforts of the Fatherland
Some craft piloted, some unmanned
Disc craft didn’t work out as planned
Rocket craft not in demand
But still they built what they could
Lack of metal, most of wood
Deltas, and flying wings
And all those things they understood
Like a SAM with proximity fuse
Enzian was oh so crude
Messerschmitt, less 2-6-2s
Other efforts were more smooth
Like the MK-213
Revolver cannon, cyl spinning
Never becoming war-winning
Became a captured postwar thing
[DEFA & Aden copying]
Intel groups on the prowl
Searched Oberammegau
Found a multi-sweep wing
Electrostatic motor-stop-thing
Other disc craft at Prague’s ‘drome
Jet auto-gyro rotor drones
Others baffled, were unknown
No visible propulsion shown
[MIP & EMG covers blown]
While manned suicide machines,
sat motionless, idling
Reitsch, their test pilot queen
Promoted the R.IV for diving
[Even SS didn’t want that scheme]
So in the end, the treasure lay
Around every base, in hidden bays
Miracles thus were delayed
Hitler took his life, self-slain
[War booty was all remained]
