The Lyrics

This is from the X-Men movies and does not follow the comic book series history...
Raven Darkholme is Mystique
A scaly blue mutant freak
Amazing strength, she is not weak
Lives for Xavier’s defeat

Once lovers a long time ago,
Now follows nemesis Magneto
Brotherhood of Mutants quickly grows
Far more than the petty humans know

Opposed to Mutant Registration Act
Kidnaps Kelly with shape-shift act
Suddenly he’s dead, there’s no turning back
Imitates him, then changes “facts”

She tries to flirt with Wolverine
Who finds her most disgusting
Magneto freed from prison scene
She joins his mutant war machine

But she’s hit with a cure dart
Then her whole world falls apart
Magneto’s words break her heart
It’s time for a brand-new start

She gives Magneto’s base away
Climatic battle goes human way
Now will she leave or will she stay?
Ultimately, Raven doesn’t say…

Shape-shifter can survive both ways
She lives to fight another day…

Nice tribute to my favorite bad mutant.

Rebecca Romijn was freakin' awesome and I am surprised that they let her do a lot of work in the nude (or serpentine)! I used to have the official "Got Milk?" Rebecca Romijn poster but had a hard time with it on my wall with the girls- sold it to my mailman ;-D
