| Parody Song Title: | "Shots of Roids (Tell me, Barry)" |

My first parody in over two years! Am I back??? You'll have to tell me, I guess (be gentle, I'm slowly regaining my old abilities!) The original song helped a lot, practically writing itself in some parts. I went to what I knew best for my return to parodies: sports. If you don't know much about em (or at least basic issues), you probably won't like a bunch of my stuff
Now hey baseball fan, did you just hear,
That Bonds did juice, the cream and clear hair, hey, hey
He hits like thunder and he's got huge veins
But he's useless when his knee needs drained, hey, hey
Since his muscles are inflated balloons
He can sit out the spring, and take off June, hey, hey
Tell me do you like to hit home runs
Did you hit em all the candid way or are your numbers shaded
Perhaps the roids are overrated
Tell me, did you think that you could hit balls far
Without leaving a permanent scar
On the record books while you were shooting up your arms out there
Now that you're lacking your "medication"
And you've been shunned by the population, hey, hey
Just check out the mirror, watch the muscles grow
While things get smaller down below, hey, hey
Now that you've finished your career
I'm afraid that you'll switch over to Mary Jane
Told a story about a man who wont get in the Hall of Fame
Tell me did the it feel like a sin to cheat
Did you ever get a chance to think of the fans that you'd betray
When relying on your Juiced-up play
And tell me, did you just lose your mind
You will get suspended and fined
And you will miss the times when you were just yourself out there
Can you imagine having pride in your hitting
Not having the fans quitting out on you
You don't even know you're wrong
Can you imagine a second chance, not performance-enhanced "Baseball and roids" conversations
The best sound that has ever been hear by me
Tell me did the it feel like a sin to cheat
Did you ever get a chance to think of the fans that you'd betray
When relying on your Juice-y play
Tell me do you like to hit home runs
Did you hit em all the candid way or are your numbers shaded
Perhaps the roids are overrated
Tell me, did you think that you could hit balls far
Without leaving a permanent scar
On the record books while you were shooting up your arms out there
And did you ever get a chance to think of the fans that you'd betray
And did you think that you could hit balls far
That you could hit balls far
And are you lonely thinking only of yourself out there

It's not bad for after a 2 year hiatus, but the pacing is off in a few places and you should probably proofread (quite a few typos)
Excellent job for a tough song to parody. You stayed true to the original lines, especially with the alliteration to the OS, to keep me on track.
From one who arrived after you left, welcome back! This was a fun read.
