There are 2 parts to how this song came together. One of them was a few years ago when my mom told me that guys were just like shoes, and I had to try on several pairs before I found the right fit. The other was when I was babysitting & I was extremely bored, listening to the radio when Three Days Grace come on with this song & for some strange reason the song writer in me came out just at that moment & I wrote this.
