| Parody Written by: | DJL |
I am a fan of Sega games, despite what the critics say about some of its latest additions.
Sonic: The opening load is over
The TV starts to glow
You feel the strangest feeling
Something you’ve never known
You’re sitting in your chair
The music breaks the air
What’s this unknown feeling
You slowly start to know
That there is
Nothing like a game from Sega
There’s nothing like a Sega game
Hearts will skip a beat from Sega
When you’re feeling down
I tell you know
That’s what you should claim
Movies flop, their endings drop
And TV’s all a bore
So take a risk
Put in that disc and play what we adore
Because there’s nothing like a game from Sega
There’s nothing like a Sega game
Eggman: It’s often been said
That Sega is dead
The critics repeat without stop
But it always will thrive
It’s gonna survive
Its fan quota never will drop
You waited forever
Searching the stores
Finding that game you’ve been saving up for
Before they can grab it, you reach out and nab it
Pay for it quickly and speed out the door
The graphics, yuck
The story sucks
The voices are all wrong
And when you reach a level
The loading takes too long
Sonic: But still there’s
Nothing like a game from Sega
Both: There’s nothing like a Sega game
Eggman: You swear you won’t buy one again
It’s not worth it anymore
Sonic: You make that vow
And yet, somehow
Both: You’re back there in the store
So there is nothing like a game from Sega
Sonic: There’s nothing like a Sega game
Eggman: ‘Til you’re in software
Sonic: There’s nothing like a Sega game
Eggman: It might be quite expensive
50 bucks, but all the same
Both: There’s nothing like a Sega game!
The TV starts to glow
You feel the strangest feeling
Something you’ve never known
You’re sitting in your chair
