Long time ago me and Eugene Levy here
we was hitchhikin' down a long and lonesome road.
All of a sudden, there stood this rich guy in the middle... of the road.

Well me and Eugene, we looked at each other,
and we each said... "Candy."

And we thought of the first name that came to our heads
That name just happened to be
our best bud John Candy, it was our best bud John Candy.

Because he was John Candy.
This fat man was a hero and a gentleman.
He was so sweet, and he was so kind.
And he was so fun.

Needless to say, the rich guy was amazed.
He nodded his head three times.
And then he was done.
He asked us: "Is he an angel?"
And we said, "Nay. But he's John Candy."
