The Lyrics

This is a parody of Shania's "I'm Not In The Mood (To Say No)" off of the CD Up! It's about a grade 8 teacher that is obsessed with teaching and can't wait for the bell to ring to begin class.
Don't wanna wait till nine
It's such a waste of time
Just pacin' back and forth
Uh-uh bore
Rather come burstin' through the door
Uh-uh yeah...

I'd rather spend my time teaching science
Then waiting for the bell, in compliance
I don't need no psychic
Don't care if you don't like it
I'm not tryin' to be rude-oh-oh

I'm not in the mood
To review and to quiz
Uneducated kids
No, I'm not in the mood
To teach class
And get asked
"Is this what we're to do?"
No, I'm not in the mood
To teach you!

I'm not the patiencent type ah-ah-ah
And I don't like lots of hype ah-ah-ah
I just wanna teach my class ah-ah-ah
And is that too much to ask?

This is just one of many parodies that have been written regarding Shania Twain songs. The author of this parody appreciates the feedback and comments of those who read it. We are not, in any way encouraging you to vote for this song, but rather to send feedback and your opinions on it. Your opinions would be taken under considoration and we will do our best to answer any questions you may have. By this weekend, we hope to be able to submit a list that would reveal the parody titles of Shania's 19 tracks off the Up! album. This takes time, and therefor, could take longer. About half of the songs have been submitted to this website to date, but they will not all fit on the Shania parody homepage, so to view the rest, you can simply click on the link that reads "Other Shania Twain Song Parodies" and viewing all parodies written by Chris. Again, your opinion is valid.

I would like to comment on your parodies but am not familiar with any of the original songs that you have used so far, especially since you do a lot of songs that Shania has performed. I am NOT a Shania fan and go out of my way to avoid her songs. Don't take it personally, but I really don't like her or her music. As a musician, I was once pressured into singing one of her songs at a wedding. Aaargh! Sorry about that. If you don't like my stuff or share my musical taste, I don't mind and won't get upset, really! Everybody's different.
