The Lyrics

The claim of the Las Vegas-based Clonaid to have cloned a human being has now lost even more credibility after former science adviser for ABC News Michael Guillen said that it might be "part of an elaborate hoax". Guillen was supposed to lead the effort to confirm the claim. Of course, since Clonaid is linked with the Raelain sect - which believes life on earth came from aliens - some people have disbelieved the claim from the beginning.
Yeah those Raelians have left us all with a big riddle
They've got a motley crew
Cloning, yeah, they can do
Caught in a bind
Must be out of their minds
And everyone's aghast
The pundits talk
Yakking for hours
About how things should be
Why they're just crazy
Mad is the right
They think it's a big crime
They should just relax
We all just yawn, we just yawn

Are there clones now
They say they've found a way
But no proof's on the way
There's nothing to discuss
Are there clones now
This is our point of view
Clonaid's a bunch of loons
No proof 'bout what they've done
Are there clones now
Oh, they say they've found a way
But no proof's on the way
What is to discuss
Are there clones now

Now we're gonna give the journalists some advice
Behind their claims there's no story
They're just phonies
All the Raelians want is some publicity
Some time in the light
And we all just yawn
We all just yawn

Are there clones now
They say they've found a way
But no proof's on the way
There's nothing to discuss
Are there clones now
This is our point of view
Clonaid's a bunch of loons
No proof 'bout what they've done
Are there clones now
Oh, they say they've found a way
But no proof's on the way
What is to discuss
Are there clones now

Clonaid found a way to talked 'bout for many days
They won't go away
Who listens to them anyway
Is that alright and that OK yeah

They say clones they can do
But they're a bunch of loons
So why don't we let it go

Tell me what's the point of all this
Talk, talk, talk, talk
We could go day and night
Still couldn't prove them right

Are there clones now?
They say they've found a way
But no proof's on the way
There's nothing to discuss
Are there clones now
We're giving our point of view
Clonaid's a bunch of loons
No proof 'bout what they've done
Are there clones now
We'll be on our way
Let's call it a day
Are there clones now
Now, why don't we let it go
Are there clones now

I agree with your thoughts--I wrote a parody about this also, "The Long and Winding Yarns"-didn't get rave reviews
