Parody Song Title:

"The Wastelands: The Dark Tower III"

Parody Written by:

Josh Bain

This is for the fans of Stephen King's series of novels, and for Agrimorfee also. It seems that he is a fellow gunslinger as well.
I walk a lonely road,
towards a tower with a king on throne.
Don't know where to go,
but the path of Mir.
And it's bear and bone.

Pre-chorus: I walk to Lud's drumbeats.
Down the broken path of shattered beams.
Where Blaine the pain sleeps.
The Ka-tet is the one that he hates alone.
We walk alone. We walk alone.
We walk alone.
We walk a...

Chorus: The shadow impregnates Susannah laughing.
The Tick-Tock Man grabs Jake and gives him beatings.
Sometimes I wish Flagg would just get a life now.
'Til then it's key and rose.

We're strolling down the line.
Thoughts of Jake have plagued my fragile mind.
Eddie has to find where to pull Jake through,
And he's on his own.

The bridge into Lud,
Gasher's got it blocked.
Now things are tight.
Beware of the signs.
Nineteen rules our lives,
as we walk alone.
We walk alone. We walk alone.
We walk alone.
We walk a.....

(Chorus)

(Pre-chorus) and then (Chorus)

In my opinion, if your song isn't funny to a layperson, then it isn't funny at all. You can tell there's detail, but I don't get it, and don't desire to. Not to tell you to compromise your principles, but maybe something more mainstream, eh?

Josh, the last commenter does't seem to understand that there is a place in the world for niche topics. Ignore it, write about whatever happens to strike your mind. As to the song, nice job again. Is it really revealed that Susannah gets impregnated in Book 3? I don't seem to remember that...if so, it kinda messes up the continuity. But who cares? :)

Thanks Agrimorfee, you should join my Ka-tet. As to the answer of your question it is implied throughout book 3 and 4 that Susannah is pregnant. It is finally in Wolves when we learn of Mia and her plans for Mordred and Susannah. It's because of the years gaps in writing 3 through 7 that I think King got lost in continuity. I plan to write parodies of all seven books once I find the right tunes that they flow with. I also plan to write more non-DT parodies of SK's books. Until then stay tuned and keep posting comments.

Thayer, it says it's a parody of the Dark Tower III: The Waste Lands. Why did you bother reading and commenting if you haven't read the book? WTF is wrong with some people?
