After a break I have finally returned with my latest installment of my Greenday American Idiot album parody with track number 6 St Jimmy
Lil' Jimmy's running back across the road again
Then he is knocked over, oh this was a hit and run
Brain hanging halfway out
And then we here a shout
Lil' Jimmy's getting up on 1, 2

His name is Jimmy and his brain is hanging out
Freaky little mutant kid the schools talking about
Got a twitch in his knees and he often wets his bed
He ain't got a bladder my gosh he should be dead
In court the driver he denied it all
Thought Jim was a deer with a taste for Suicidal
With half a kidney cut off and on-ly one toe
With only 1 point pi lungs, you think he would be slow
But this accident has made him superhuman
Think he'll live past eighty, older than P Newman

But now he's 55 with a wife and a boy
Broken loads of bones and gushed pints of blood
Beat Avada Kedavra, will he never die
It's is Freaky, you can't believe

And he's now dead...choked on a peanut

DKTOS but I actually gave it a careful read-through anyway. Clever, sick humor. I particularly like the "my gosh he should be dead" stanza.
(SOTM) Lovely work. I like the way you listed all the things tht happened to Jimmy, like he's missing a kidney, and he's only got one toe. Hilarious.
And why is a 55 year old man still called "L'il"? Actually, I think that potential inconsistency goes well with the edgy humor of this parody. Well done, Josh2.
(SOTM) DKTOS, so I've trusted others on the pacing. Very funny read- reminds me of a Simpsons Treehouse of Horror where a similar fate befell Homer.
This is (now) the only song this month that I've never heard and haven't been able to track down as an mp3, and I've tried in 5-6 personal SOTM sessions by now. I do like Green Day, but not on the "I have to buy it" level, at least not this far, and though this might have been the OS to turn me around I wasn't able to find out for sure on such a busy month as December. As a read it was a good parody with a gross twist at the end, and that's always a nice thing.
