Among some other great lines, I liked this one: 'Because I'm bored I'll look it up'
555. Made my rainy day. This reminds me of a 'Ren and Stimpy Show' episode, because 'bored games' sounds like 'board games.' In this particular episode, named 'Sven Hoek,' Stimpy and Sven are looking for board games because it's raining and they can't play outside. So Stimpy sums up the names of the games: Scribble, Gamey, Monotony, Pure Cheesy and Misery Date. In the end, they choose "Don't Whiz On The Electric Fence" which has deadly electricity. Would have been my choice, as well.

(SOTM) DKTOS, but I imagined this as a Green Day-ish upbeat punk style song, so it kinda works that way. With that in mind, not quite a laughgetter, but whimsical enough maybe for a Seame Street skit.

SOTM- Well, I've only heard TOS a few times and not recently, so I got ahold of a MIDI that wasn't much help and also the original lyrics which didn't help much either. I wont point out the spellings mistakes because that would be totally hypocritical (sp?) of me. =)

SOTM - Sorry, DKTOS - I tried to remember this one but I don't think I've heard it before. Now that I've seen the OS lyrics via Google, I'm glad I've never heard the OS. But your parody does a very good job of using the original lyrics to good effect. Good pacing too.

I really like the OS, and you've done a good job defining boredom in your parody. "Bored games" - heh heh.
SOTM...there were lots of lines that made me smile...I'll echo the 'bored games' laughs...but I have to say that I, personally, LOVE rainy days. They are some of my favorites...=) This was fun, though...nice job!

Not a big fan of rainy days myself (I'm a mailman) so I can relate. Not bad.
One of the very few Green Day songs I know - an excellent parody (but if I may nitpick slightly, finding the meaning for "Zieg heil" might be difficult as you'd be looking in entirely the wrong place in the dictionary: "Sieg heil" means "hail to victory", or somesuch...)
SOTM...Not riotous, but not bad. Good job of capturing those old rain blues.
