Hmm, not like I'm some song-parody genius commentator here or anything, but it seemed like you were trying to rhyme too much with the original version. Not that that's a bad thing, but "tents, son" and "tension" are too alike. Clever, however, it didn't match anything in the song. Perhaps you could rewrite it using a camping theme. 3-1-2!
