A friend of mine misheard the lyrics of the original "Anthem" as "I wanna be you", so I took off from there. Anyway, no matter what those dudes say they are NOT influenced by the Pistols and the Clash. They are influenced by Blink 182, Green Day, and other bands of the 90s punk "revival" set off by grunge. Really, it's just pure pop. If you're a Good Charlotte fan, please don't expect me to cater to you! Go read a Britney parody so you can feel superior! Maybe this pardoy will set your sad little minds straight...Johnny Rotten ROCKS!!!! YEAH!!!!!

Pacing was off, but I loved the message, especially considering I despise Good Charlotte. Keep it up.

Now, Alex, I'm not saying that I particularly hate Blink 182, I'm just saying that their stuff isn't worth stealing. I'm more of a fan of the punk 70s anyway.
I'm a GC fan myself but unlike others,I have a sense of humor.Great job on this,it made my day not-so-boring.I've written a few of my GC-hatin' parodies cause the twins annoy the crap out of me.Aren't I a weird little bugger?
I like GC and Blink, but that was funny. Horrible pacing, though.
Yeah, I know the pacing was bad. I've only heard the song a couple of times, so I can't really pace well.
If you liked this parody, I wrote another one called "Lifespans of the Truth to the Breakthroughs" and it's a take on "Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous". It's currently being approved (or not approved, whatever). If it's up, you should see it in a couple of days.
Very funny, like the majority said, though, a few pacing problems. I thought it was very clever, kudos for creativity.
