I drank a cup of coffee
That fateful Thursday morning
I didn't feel like going out

I had that sinking feeling
My heart was double beating
Something bad was going down

Everyone acted normal
Everything seemed the same
As I stared out to the yard

The day was good and sunny
I felt like going downtown
And maybe sitting in the park.

I stared; a plane flew from the clouds
To the horror of the crowds
The Boeing then came down...

I ran into my garden
The screams were audible
A cry of shock echoed off of the city walls
A second plane approaches
Attacks the other building
Sadly later on the majestic towers fall

And then
The Saga should have ended
But Bush won't let it lie...

Afghanistan was bombed
Civilians lost blood
Just so the Americans
Can make themselves feel good

The Bush Administration
Has pushed the war to far
Why cant we leave Iran
Just the way they are?

But no
The paranoia spreads
And Bush wants upon sticks
The Al Qaeda heads...
