Modern education
You needn't be too clever
There's a curve that can pull you
In this recent layman's world
We all need to go for gold
Take GCSE's
Because they're easy

Take a chance, you will pass
So will the rest of the class
Can't you see?
That they're dumbing down exams...

Used to be
Less than C
Was a miserable fail.
Now a D gives you everything you need.

Politicians won't except
That the kids are getting smarter
It's the papers
They're too simple

Why do they expect?
That they tests set are much easier
It's preposterous
And suspicious...

Must back down, cos they're making student life...
