The Lyrics

Ever think Ron gets tired of smiling all day every day?
I can't stand the fries,
That's not what I eat,
I can't walk outside,
Without tripping on my feet

I'm more than a clown,
But less than a saint,
More than some silly face in oil paint, and
It's not easy...to be me

I wish that I could cry,
But it'd be no fun,
If tears fall from my eyes,
It'll make my make-up run

It may sound absurd,
But I will be real,
Even icons have the right to feel,
I may be disturbed,
But here is the deal,
There's no happiness in Happy Meals, 'cause
It's not easy...to be me

Take these fries away... away from me,
It's all right,
I'll sing and dance tonight,
I'm not angry...or anything

I can't stand the fries,
That's not what I eat,
I want to go inside
But the kids won't let me leave

I'm only a man,
With these silly red feet,
Trying to do magic tricks in this noon-day heat,
Only a man, with really big feet,
Working for min'mum wage at Mickie-D's,

At Mickie-D's, At Mickie-D's
At Mickie-D's, At Mickie-D's

I'm only a man with these silly red feet,
Only a man wearing make-up crème,
Only a man with these really big feet, and
It's not easy, ooh ooh ooh,

It's not easy...to be.......... me

Encore... with fries please. I wanted to do a duet with you a while back but I wasn't sure how to get in touch with you. I ended up finishing my x-men parody, which was kinda-sort-of inspired by your take on 'We didn't Start the Fire'. Come check it out man. It has nothing to do with your well-paced and funny ode to Ronald but still... http://www.amiright.com/parody/80s/billyjoel97.shtml P.S. If you're still interested in doing a duo at some point, give me some way to get in touch with ya next time :c).
