| Parody Song Title: | "Cringe" |
| Parody Written by: | Starlette Victory |
I was once talking to someone who had served as a proctor for the SATs...she said, "I felt so bad for those poor kids. They'd open the books and then they'd cringe so that you could just....*hear* it."
I can feel the terror floating in the air
Just watching you gets me that way
I watch abject fright creep across your face and I've
Never felt such sympathy
All my thoughts just seem to settle on the breeze
When I'm watching in a crowded room
The whole world just fades away
The only thing I hear
Is the beating of your heart
'Cause I can hear you cringe
Your face has a gray tinge
Suddenly I'm so glad I'm not you
You look like you could die
Maybe what you need is Valium, see
Painful mental crunch
The nauseating rush
I remember my first time with those damn SATs
I can hear you cringe
Just cringe
As it ends I feel all your souls cracking up
As all the clocks keep counting down
You feel worse than you've ever felt before
And I know
And you know
You just want to die right now
'Cause I can hear you cringe
Your face has a gray tinge
Suddenly I'm so glad I'm not you
You look like you could die
Maybe what you need is Valium, see
Painful mental crunch
The nauseating rush
I remember my first time with those damn SATs
I can hear you cringe
Just cringe
Painful mental crunch
The nauseating rush
I remember my first time with those damn SATs
I can hear you cringe
Just cringe
I can feel the terror floating in the air
Just watching you gets me that way
Just watching you gets me that way
I watch abject fright creep across your face and I've
Never felt such sympathy
All my thoughts just seem to settle on the breeze

You may not get a perfect score but life goes on.
Tell that to my mother when I take the PSAT next Tuesday. I feel like I want to do what those kids in that movie, "The Perfect Score," did, and steal the answers, only I'd get caught and it'd be really stupid...
