At Wal-mart smokin' pot


I remember that summer when I turned eighteen
I was so darn hungry I could eat anything
There were holes in the floor of my pontiac
but I didn't care cause I had me a sack
I wasn't very well known in my hometown
And those who knew me all let me down

There were wannabees and posers at my high school
then there was me I thought I was cool
rollin' up joints and drinkin' beer
hidin'from my parents till the coast was clear
Id run out and score another dove
roll another fatty in my friends pickup truck
I would stumble around the back to drink another beer
But I don't remember alot
I was at walmart smokin' pot

It had shiny red hairs and gave me bloodshot eyes
I thought id do it for the rest of my life
but I wasn't prim and proper I didn't drink wine
Id ask the girls if I could call sometime
they would say no and walk away
