Song Parodies -> Just Find My (Rooster) Somewhere!
| Original Song Title: | "It's Five O'clock Somewhere" |
| Original Performer: | Alan Jackson |
| Parody Song Title: | "Just Find My (Rooster) Somewhere!" |
| Parody Written by: | Ima Lill Bitnaughty |
When it comes to words, Ms. Bitnaughty, normally a cocksure lass, racked and racked her tiny brain but could not seem to find the right, single words for the terms in parentheses below ("rooster" and "make love like wild rabbits"). Well, maybe you will have better luck.
Just Find My (Rooster) Somewhere
The sun was hot and that 'ol (rooster) was movin' slow.
So surprised:
A stray hen passes and as fast as Liz in her prime--
Woah, it's goodbye!
Gettin' worried by the hour
And older by the minute.
Fowl just pushed me over the limit.
Like to call him or something.
Think I'll just sit here and wait.
Poultry's seldom big and strong,
But this barnyard swain is like a hurricane.
It's tough to ask for help, but I don't care.
Just find my (rooster) somewhere!
Well, his amorous break did take all afternoon
And half the night.
Tomorrow morning he'll know there'll be hell to pay,
Hey, I hope he's all right.
Ain't run away now
In over a year.
My rooster's vacation
Had better end right here.
If the bird's still free
You can tell him I miss him dearly.
Poultry's seldom big and strong,
But this barnyard swain is like a hurricane.
It's tough to ask for help, but I don't care.
Just find my (rooster) somewhere
He'd sit in my truck cab,
Plant himself on the dash and lean back to crow country tunes.
At a moment like this
I can't help but ponder
What a funny doodle-doo!
He says: "Poor me, but I'm no capon,
But you're a major pain and drivin' me insane.
This may be my first hen, but I'd do it again...
Just let me (make love like wild rabbits) somewhere!"
I don't care!
Just let me (short synonym for making love like wild rabbits) somewhere!
(Ad lib and fade out)
